How Grief Changed My Work as an Animal Communicator
It has been a few months since my little dog Pablo passed away.
Pablo was the longest resident in my household—one of the few animals who came to me as a very young being and stayed for so many years. Life is different now. We are all doing okay here. I still share my home with another dog and a kitty, both of whom are doing really well. And at the same time, there is an undeniable absence—the absence of one of my animal soulmates.
I can still feel Pablo’s presence. His essence is here with us.
What I didn’t fully anticipate was how profoundly his passing would change my work.
When Animals Cross Over: Continuing the Conversation
When you look at my work, you’ll often see that I support animals at the end of life, those who are highly anxious or fearful, and those who have already crossed over. This includes what I call Spirit Animal Sessions—connections with animals who are no longer in their physical bodies.
People sometimes wonder how this kind of work is even possible. For me, as an intuitive, it’s actually quite simple. Whether an animal is still in the body or has left it, I connect with the soul essence. The physical form changes, but the soul does not disappear. Communication remains possible.
